Description

The iPod U2 Special Edition was a 20Gb fourth generation iPod in a black case with a red scroll wheel.  It had a 2-inch LCD that had blue-white LED backlighting.  It shipped with earbud headphones, a FireWire cable and a USB 2.0 cable. The signatures of the band members of U2 were engraved on the back.

History

The iPod U2 Special edition matched the colors of the band’s latest album, “How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.”  Included in the box was a coupon for the iTunes Store that was worth $50 off The Complete U2, which was a digital collection with over 400 tracks from U2.
